The Department of Chemistry holds many events each year to promote chemistry, the University and to reach out to the community. Our most recent events are sited below.

Alumni and Awards Banquet

The Department of Chemistry hosts an annual Alumni and Awards Banquet each spring, at which outstanding chemistry students are recognized. Awards are presented for high performance at all course levels, from freshman through senior. Parents and friends are welcome, and many alumni return to renew old friendships. If you are a current student and have declared a major in the Chemistry Department, you may attend the banquet free of charge, as our guest.

The banquet is normally held sometime between late March and the middle of April. Reservation forms are included in the Annual Chemistry Department Newsletter. Use this form or call the department office at 734.487.0106 to reserve your spot.
