Program Accreditations

CHHS programs are accredited by the following professional organizations:

  • Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education
  • National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences
  • Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education
  • National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education
  • National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education
  • Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education
  • Council on Social Work Education

Accreditation signifies that the program faculty, curricula, facilities, and other resources conform to standards accepted as a strong foundation for preparing students to enter the respective professions. All accredited programs undergo periodic review that includes a site visit by a team of educators and practitioners. The purpose of the review and site visit is to insure that the program meets or exceeds the standards for accreditation, and to provide the program faculty with suggestions for further improvement.
