Health Education Program

EMU's Health Education program offers two undergraduate minors as well as a master's degree in Health Education. Successful completion of the School Health minor qualifies the student for recommendation for endorsement in health, certification code MA. The Master of Science in Health Education prepares culturally competent health education professionals to partner with individuals and communities to prevent disease and injury, and promote health.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment of health educators is expected to grow by 37 percent through 2020 as more groups look for ways to promote healthy lifestyles for individuals, families and communities.
