Office of Nutrition Services
The Office of Nutrition Services (ONS) provides a variety of nutrition services, including:
Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA)
- A quick, painless, electronic test that assesses body composition, such as percentages of body fat, lean body mass (muscle) and water.
Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA Scan)
- A complete body x-ray machine that measures bone mineral density and body composition.
Individual Nutrition Counseling
- Confidential nutrition counseling is provided by dietetic students and Registered Dietitians (RD) on staff. Individual education topics include weight management, healthy eating habits, and sports and fitness nutrition.
Nutrient Analysis of a Three-day Food Diary
- A computerized nutrient analysis is conducted following a three-day food record completed by the client, followed by a brief counseling session with interpretation of the results.
Specialized Nutrition Education
- ONS conducts customized nutrition classes and presentations designed to meet specific needs of interests of your group, both on and off campus.

Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
