Professional Summary

Teaching Interests

In my role as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, my goal is to help students develop the clinical and professional skills needed to enter the field of occupational therapy as clinicians who will not only provide client-centered occupation-based and evidence-based therapy services, but who will also serve as leaders within the profession. I am interested in bringing the classroom to the local community through the development of community-based fieldwork experiences and the use of collaborative supervision models. My academic and clinical interests also include working with children with autism and their families, early screening for and identification of autism and other developmental disabilities, and access to services and community participation for children with autism.
