Professional Summary

My areas of interest include criminal and juvenile justice, mentoring, child welfare and service learning.    I am currently serving as the University Human Subjects Review Committee (IRB) co-chair and also the field director for the school of social work.  I spent several years as the project director and evaluator for the Washtenaw County Michigan Prisoner Reentry Initiative and am currently the project director for Adolescent Diversion Project, through the Washtenaw County Juvenile Court.  I am a member of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).  I also have a macro and clinical social work license in the state of Michigan.
