| Description: | The Senate is composed of 30 seats filled by students that represent the Student Body. It sponsors several services for Students and Organizations, and advocates for issues of particular interest to the campus. Members of the Student Senate work hard to accomplish the focused goals the Student Senate has set forth in such areas as legal services, campus recycling,campus safty, shared governance, and state legislative issues relating to university funding. The Student Senate also works to ensure the voice of the students are being heard at the university, city, county, state, and federal levels of government.
