Biography

Byron Bond began his professional career as an announcer , writer, and sales representative for WLKM Radio in Three Rivers, Michigan.  His teaching career began at Three Rivers High School, where he taught a wide variety of speech and theatre course, coached debate and forensics, and directed numerous theatrical productions.  He obtained a teaching position at Vincennes University, where he progressed to the rank of full professor.  While maintaining a partial teaching responsibility, he also held administrative positions including, Coordinator of the Penitentiary Program, Director of Personnel, Administrative Specialist for Academic Transfer Programs, Dean of Extended Instructional Services, and Assistant Vice-president for Extended Instructional Services.  He also maintained the rank of full professor as he became the Executive Director of the Division of Lifelong Learning at Indiana State
