ETV provides a public service for the EMU community by keeping the university community in touch with itself through video. All ETV programming is produced, written, and directed by electronic media and film studies students. ETV is an interdisciplinary program of the Electronic Media and Film Studies Program, EMU Marketing, and the EMU Division of Information Technology.

Eagle Radio is run for and by students. The station features public service programs, news, entertainment and coverage of EMU sports.
An affiliate of National Public Radio, WEMU-FM (89.1) is the jazz center and soul of southeast Michigan. The station also features late-breaking news, interesting features and smart talk.
