HONK!

Have you ever felt like the odd man out? Ever been chased by a tomcat who finds you purrfect – for dinner? Well, maybe not the latter unless your name is Ugly and you're an odd-looking duckling who just doesn't fit in. Based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Ugly Ducking, HONK! is a lively musical comedy about an optimistic duckling and his adventures in the barnyard and beyond as he searches for his mother and a place to belong. A heart-warming celebration of being different, HONK! is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit and memorable score. Winner of multiple awards, including the 2000 Olivier Award for Best Musical, HONK! features book and lyrics by Anthony Drewe and music by George Stiles.

Directed by Ken Stevens with musical direction by R. MacKenzie Lewis, performances will be in the Sponberg Theatre on May 31, June 1, 6, 7, 8 at 7pm and June 2 & 9 at 2 pm.

Recommended for family audiences ages 6+.
