6 FIGURES Playback Theatre Company

Playback Theatre is an improvisational form of performance that invites audience members to share stories from their everyday lives and then re-performs them with artistry and respect. We honor stories: we honor lives. Founded almost a decade ago, 6 Figures Playback Theatre Company performs and conducts workshops for diverse audiences and events.

ENCORE

EMU's Musical Theatre Troupe, was formed in the Fall of 1996. ENCORE provides educational entertainment to the campus, community and area schools. Composed of EMU student performers under the direction of R. MacKenzie Lewis and Ken Stevens, ENCORE has performed for a wide range of audiences - from campus special events to tours to senior centers and community galas. Performances and workshops for local high schools are also an important part of ENCORE's musical outreach.

Workshops include: The Musical Theatre Audition, Musical Theatre Performance and/or Cabaret style performance along with a short performance by ENCORE.

The Fall of 2012, ENCORE will also be performing Groove Lily's concert musical STRIKING 12 on November 9 @ 7pm, November 10 @ 7pm, November 11 @ 2pm in EMU's Sponberg Theatre and December 31 @ 9pm at the Performance Network in Ann Arbor.
