A new adaptation of the J.M Barrie classic, Peter and Wendy brings to life the story of Peter, Captain Hook, Wendy, and the lost boys. With the power of imagination, this stripped-down version reminds us why the story has become so timeless - its themes of identity, friendship, and growing up.

Love Like Salt and Other Ordinary Wonders
Conceived and Directed by Patricia Zimmer
Recommended for grades K-3, estimated run time is 50 minutes.
With classic tales like "Stone Soup" and "Love Like Salt" (a Cinderella tale), EMU Theatre of the Young celebrates the power of the everyday with riddles and lively stories about ordinary objects. Full of word play, fun and transformation, actors even create an ocean from common objects!

Playback Theatre is an improvisational form of performance that invites audience members to share stories from their everyday lives and then re-performs them with artistry and respect. We honor stories: we honor lives. Founded almost a decade ago, 6 Figures Playback Theatre Company performs and conducts workshops for diverse audiences and events.

EMU's Musical Theatre Troupe, was formed in the Fall of 1996. ENCORE provides educational entertainment to the campus, community and area schools. Composed of EMU student performers under the direction of R. MacKenzie Lewis and Ken Stevens, ENCORE has performed for a wide range of audiences - from campus special events to tours to senior centers and community galas. Performances and workshops for local high schools are also an important part of ENCORE's musical outreach.

Workshops include: The Musical Theatre Audition, Musical Theatre Performance and/or Cabaret style performance along with a short performance by ENCORE.
