Dr. Hung-Lian Tang has published articles in refereed journals and proceedings such as Journal of Computer Information Systems and Information and Management. He is a member of several information systems related associations such as Decision Sciences Institute, International Association of Computer Information Systems, and International Chinese Information Systems Association (ICISA). He is the elected president of the International Chinese Information Systems Association (ICISA), the Board of Director of ACME (Association for Chinese Management Educators), and the past Vice President of IBSCA (International Business School Computing Association).
