Professional Summary

Dr. Davis' articles are published in such journals as the Journal of Marketing Management, the Journal of Macromarketing and the Journal of Historical Research in Marketing and has been presented at numerous professional marketing associations including the American Academy of Advertising (AAA), the Macromarketing Society and the Conference on Historical Analysis and Research in Marketing (CHARM). From 2006-2012, she served as the Faculty Coordinator for the M.S. degree program in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC). Her first book - Pioneering African-American Women in the Advertising Business: Biographies of MAD Black WOMEN - was published by Routledge in 2017. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, American Black Journal, the Hartman Center at Duke University and the   National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian.

Her research focuses on marketing communications strategies and policies in corporate and entrepreneurial settings and historical and multicultural marketing topics.
