Linda Burilovich

Linda BurilovichDr. Linda Burilovich has been a professor of Accounting at Eastern Michigan University since 1999 and is known among her colleagues for going above and beyond. Dr. Burilovich has been deeply involved in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) as well as EMU’s Certified Financial Planner Program. She also has numerous publications in The National Public Accountant, The Tax Advisor, The CPA Journal, Today’s CPA, The Michigan CPA, The Journal of Business Research and The Journal of Accounting Education. Her interviews have also appeared on Bankrate, Yahoo Financial, Fox News Business and Worldwide Business web pages. Her dedication to the craft and practice of accounting is reflected in the immense scope and depth of the courses she teaches. Linda was also the recipient of the 2014 EMU Ronald W. Collins Distinguished Faculty Award Recipient in the Teaching II Category.

Randall Hucks

Randall HucksDr. Randall Hucks joined our Accounting Faculty in Fall 2015 as a member of the Accounting Faculty. Dr. Hucks received his B.S. in Mathematics and Physics and his Masters in Accounting from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Michigan where he also taught Introduction to Accounting for Non-Business Majors. His areas of research interest include capital markets, voluntary disclosure, signaling and credibility, and peer-to-peer lending.
