MSA and other College of Business graduate students have a number of ways to seek assistance. In addition to working with a faculty advisor, Dr. Phil Lewis, who can provide advice on curriculum and career paths, students may seek general guidance from the Graduate Programs Office within the COB’s Office of Academic Services. Advising staff in that office can assist with registration issues, concerns about academic standing, interpretation of EMU and Graduate School policies and procedures, and can also share information about the various support services and resources available.
The College of Business houses a satellite office of University Advising and Career Development Center that offers workshops, career assistance, internships and placement opportunities. The COB also has a satellite office of the University Writing Center for assistance with writing assignments or writing skills in general. There are a number of other academic resources of which students can take advantage.
