Re: Economics minor Rejoinder

EMU will no longer offer an Economics major for secondary certification. We will not admit students into the program after this May.

The Economics minor will now be only available for candidates majoring in Social Studies. Therefore, the weaknesses in Standards 1.7; 2.1; 2.2; and 2.3 are met through the Social Studies major’s required course work.
