Standards Matrix
Following are two sets
of the same matrix. The first set is in response to the National Middle School
Association national standards. Specific places within the subsequent content
and course outlines where the standards have been met are indicated in red, the
given standard listed by number.
A second matrix also
demonstrates EMU’s compliance with the National Middle School Standards and how
content and course outlines correlate with
a) general
National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, as indicated in blue on the
matrix
b) specific
Early Adolescence Generalist Standards, as indicated in green on the matrix
Additionally, the
EMU’s Middle Level Endorsement follows the matrices.
Please note the three
horizontal columns in the matrix are used, reading left to right, for:
