When programs change requirements on a Major or Minor, how do I know which
program to follow?
The catalog requirements
in effect at the time of the student’s initial registration at
a college or university or the requirements of a subsequent catalog,
including those in effect at the time of the student’s graduation,
may be used to complete graduation requirements. Keep in mind that majors and minors are unofficial until the student is admitted to EMU’s teacher preparation program. It is very important that students get admitted in a timely manner so that they can continue to follow the major or minor they started.
9.
When should I do the graduation audit?
Technically, students
may apply for an audit after they have attained 95 credit hours. However,
it is recommended that students apply for their graduation audit at
the same time they submit their application for student teaching. Complete
the form at the Office of Records and Registration in 303 Pierce Hall,
or the form printed in the class schedule book.
10.
When is the graduation application deadline?
Applications
must be in during the first 2 weeks of the final semester or session
in which you are enrolled. Application forms are available in the Office
of Records & Registration, 303 Pierce.
