EMU alumnus Jeffrey Bradley of Slauson Middle
School in Ann Arbor is one of five finalists for state
teacher of the year.

EMU doctoral alum Daniel Guernsey has been named president of Ave Maria College in Ypsilanti. The Ypsilanti campus is scheduled to be closed after the 2006-2007 academic year as the institution moves to a campus near Naples, Florida.
IN MEMORIUM
According to an obituary in the Ann Arbor News, E. Jean Mann Purdy died recently. She had a master’s degree in school counseling from EMU and was, for many years, counselor at Beach Middle School in Chelsea until her retirement in 1992.
