Jack
Minzey ‘50, Hugh Rohrer ‘57,
and Dan Cady ‘63 were honored by the
Michigan Association of Adult
and Community Education with Lifetime
Achievement Awards (the first
ever given) and Lifetime memberships in
the organization.

Richard
Krzewinski ‘60, ‘63 died recently
in Saline. He taught for
the Ypsilanti schools for
more than 36 years until his retirement in
1996.
The
memory of James Doyle ‘66 will be honored during
the traditional
MASA rose memorial ceremony
next month.
Shirley
Rowe ‘75, ‘82, who taught art for
24 years in the
Plymouth-Canton schools died
recently of breast cancer at her home in
Whitmore Lake.

William "Bill" Morris,
'64, '68 is the incoming vice
chair of the EMU Foundation Board of
Directors. The incoming chair of the
Board is Larry Warren, who, with his
wife Janice, has endowed a scholarship
for an African-American graduate student
in educational leadership.

Robinett, age 91, died recently
in Chelsea. She taught in the Dexter
schools

Keating received
an EMU Alumni
Achievement
Award in 1987.
Thomas
M. Grundner ‘67 is the
owner of Marietta Golf Products of
Cleveland,
OH and Tucson,
AZ. In 1988
he received
an EMU Alumnus
Achievement
Award.
Bill
Blakemore ‘75 is the new
athletic director at Huron High School
in
Ann Arbor.
In the late
1970's, he
was the athletic
director at
Gabriel
Richard High
School in Ann
Arbor. He then
moved to Florida
to
teach
and coach.
For approximately
the past 20
years, he has
been the
athletic
director at
Lely High School
in Naples,
FL.

Clara
M. Gale, age 97, died recently
in Saline. She attended The
Normal
and taught
for 13 years
in the Ann
Arbor and Saline
areas.
