The Counseling Clinic offers services for Individual, Couples, Family & Child counseling.
Counseling services are provided by graduate students under direct supervision of faculty and staff. The clinic runs in conjunction with coursework to enable students to obtain practicum experience.
Our counselors work with children, adolescents, and adults from Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor and surrounding communities; EMU students, faculty, and staff.

Reading
The Reading Clinic operates in the Winter semesters, one evening per week and Spring or Summer semesters, 2 sessions per week.

The Reading Clinic provides assessment and instructional services for children struggling with literacy.

Speech and Language therapy services are provided by graduate students under direct supervision of faculty and staff. The clinic runs in conjunction with coursework to enable students to obtain practicum experience Audiology services provided by the clinical audiologist, often with student clinicians.

Speech hearing and screenings testing for prospective student
teachers offered:
Tests are conducted the first five days of Fall, Winter, & Spring semesters at the COE Clinical Suite, Porter Building, Suite 135. Tests are given from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Testing takes 5-10 minutes. There is no charge for these tests.
