Inservice teachers' assessment literacy and attitudes toward assessment

Biography

I am a faculty member in the Department of Teacher Education, currently serving as coordinator for the master of arts program in educational psychology. My teaching interests include assessment, research, and mixed methods courses. My service interests include program coordination, accreditation (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation), and human subjects (Institutional Review Board). My research interests include program evaluation and assessment. I was appointed as an assistant professor in the fall of 1996 and associate professor in the fall of 2001. From 2002 through 2015, I served in various college-level administrative roles including assistant dean, associate dean, and interim dean. In the fall of 2020 I earned a promotion to full professor. I live in Chelsea with my two sons Ryan (11) and Finn (8).
