Minutes from 10-16-01were approved.
A motion was made to approve the revisions to the Master of Science in Career, Technical and Workforce Education
The motion was approved
Kia Skaggs presented a draft model of shared department goals for advanced programs in teacher education. The model included a graphic and an outline for outcomes. Faculty in teacher education had engaged in discussion concerning challenges provided by developing a model that included approximately 15 graduate degrees.
The committee engaged in discussion concerning progress to date.
Lisa Frankes reported that part of the advanced programs committee's role is to monitor progress and to see that NCATE materials are presented to the committee.
Chris Bocklage and Sue Stickel will present materials in progress from their respective programs at the next meeting.
Ballots for the issue of combining the Professional and Affiliated Program Committee into Advanced and Basic Program Committees were distributed.
