Ron Williamson called the meeting to order.
Minutes for
Dibya Choudhuri presented an overview of the Certificate of Advanced Studies – Helping Interventions in a Multicultural Society. This certificate is a way to add specialization and provide an advanced competency for people in the helping fields. Dr. Choudhuri also presented the outline for a new course: Advanced Multicultural Counseling COUN 671 – 3 credit hours.
It was moved and seconded to approve the certificate program and COUN 671.
The motion passed
David Boggs and Carol Haddad presented information regarding the Ph.D. Program in Technology. The program is designed to reflect concepts of the life cycle model of technology.
It was moved and seconded to approve the program.

The committee discussed having a cover sheet for materials coming to the committee. The committee decided that this was not necessary.
The meeting was adjourned.
The December 2 meeting is optional pending agenda items.
