Minutes of Meeting on 9-28-04

 

Present: Sue Stickel, COUN; Karen Schulte, SPED; Pat Williams-Boyd, TED; Jane Gordon, TED; Margo Dichtelmiller, TED; Phil Cardon, STS/COT; Sarah Huyvert, TED; Chris Bocklage, Art; Steve LoDuca, Geog/Geol; Ginnie Harder, OAS;

 

 

Minutes for 4-20-04 were presented and approved

.

 

The committee acted on the following:

 

Ron Williamson was elected chair.  The committee decided that a Co-Chair was not necessary.

 

Sue Stickel was elected secretary.

 

The Committee will meet on the 2nd  Tuesday of the month with the 4th Tuesday as needed.  Meeting dates are as follows:  October 12, November 9, December 14, January 11, February 8, March 8,  and April 12.

 

 

Steve LoDuca presented a proposal for the establishment of a Masters of Science in Earth Science Education.

 

It was moved and seconded to approve the proposal

The motion passed

 

The committee considered a proposal for modifications in the SOFD masters program.

 

It was moved and seconded to approve the proposal

The motion passed

 

 

The meeting was adjourned.  The next meeting will be October 12, 2004
