1. Minutes approved from previous meeting,
9-0-0
2. Economics major changes for 7-12
education proposal tabled, 9-0-0. The committee discussed the possibility of
economics becoming a minor for social studies majors. The economics department
will discuss and return to the committee later this spring.
3. Emotional Impairment program changes for
the major and Sem-T program were discussed and approved, 7 -1-1. Members of the
committee raised concerns that the program had hidden prerequisites in
mathematics, was dropping the requirement for physical education in the
elementary education curriculum.
