Purpose of the CATE Lab
A blind student works with an elementary visually impaired student as part of a class in CATE

The CATE Lab was designed for use by disabled students, staff and faculty to incorporate the use of computers and related technology into the learning and working atmosphere of Eastern Michigan University. Successful integration of adaptive technology enables the user to participate equally in all aspects of the higher educational environment.
