Editing Sections of Pages in LiveText
When Edit is selected from a page section, the view displays the appropriate editor for that type of section. Commonly a section is used for displaying text and images, but there are also other types of sections for adding standards, questions, rubrics, or viewing forms. In general, it is best to create and author your document directly inside of the editor.

- When the page opens, you will see an editor interface. The interface will appear slightly different depending on the type of computer and browser you are using [see Fig.1 and Fig. 2] However, both should contain the same basic functions:

Fig. 1 --Text editor for the PC on Internet Explorer 6.0

Fig. 2 --Text editor for the Mac on Internet Explorer 5.2
- When editing text, the editor functions like many common word processors. You can bold, italicize, change font size, center, bullet, spell-check, include hyperlinks, and many other features. The editor also supports "copy and paste" from other applications.
- Attachments can be added to each section by selecting the Edit attachments link and following the provided instructions.
- While you are working or when you finish editing, click Save section at the bottom of the editor. To view your saved work, select Finish from the upper right-hand portion of the page.
- If you wished to edit pages, rather than sections of a page, see this web page on Editing Pages.
