Registering with LiveText

• Once you have gotten your LiveText Key Code from EMU, go to the LiveText website at http://college.livetext.com (1).
• Click on Register Account (2). Do not click the "Purchase Online" link.

• On the first registration page, select Click here to activate your account (3). If you have not already gotten your LiveText Key Code from EMU, please do so by clicking here. If you purchase your LiveText account directly from LiveText.com, it will cost you $89, instead of the lower EMU price available by clicking here.

• Next, provide the required information for LiveText registration. Make sure to select Michigan as the state and the Eastern Michigan University from the dropdown boxes. Use your my.emich e-mail address, and use your my.emich login name as your LiveText Username. Be sure to check the box next to I Agree to the Terms of Service, and then click Next at the bottom of the page (4).

• If your preferred Username is already in use within the LiveText system, you will be prompted to choose a different one. LiveText will then provide a final confirmation screen.
• When you are ready to use your LiveText account, return to http://college.livetext.com and enter your username and password in the fields provided.
