1992 Institutional Report
Faculty Vita

Introduction

Faculty Members

INTRODUCTION

Volume III, Faculty Vita, was constructed by first constructing a list of certain courses included in the professional education programs. In general, for the basic level programs, this list included the courses identified in Volume II as "professional studies." In general, for the advanced level programs, this list included the courses identified as "specialty studies" and "professional studies" in Volume II. An example of an exception to this is in the programs for secondary and K-12 teachers, where it was assumed that the "specialty studies" reflected subject-area content. From the university's master schedule file, a data base was constructed such as to identify the instructor of each section of each of the identified courses.

The period of time covered was a four-consecutive-term period, covering a calendar year, in 1991-1992. Once the names were identified from this source and in this manner, the appropriate department head was contacted with a request to furnish the abbreviated vita in the prescribed form.

Some of the persons identified in this volume have retired, have left the university, or are no longer involved with the professional education program. On the other hand, persons have been added to the faculty or have assignments such that the current (fall 1992) group of faculty differs to some degree from the vita presented in this volume.

Vita of those faculty members teaching in the professional education program in the fall of 1992 will be found in the Exhibits.
