The corrections and additions given below are to be considered part of, as applicable, the Professional Education Supplement to the Catalogs or Volumes I-III of the NCATE Institutional Report .

P. 19. Heading at top of page. This section is not applicable to special education programs. Should read

Near the bottom of the page, the section on ''Four hours from'' should include all courses listed below, i.e., all of LIT 207, PED 210, HED 320, FA 300, FA 101, CTD 222, MUS 104, MUS 224, MUS 103. Stated another way, the final six items should be indented the same way that the first three items are.
P. 277. Near top of left column. ''Total program hours" should be 55.

VOLUME I -- STANDARDSP. x. Since the "Preconditions Report" was received, the Technology Education folio has been submitted to NCATE and the appropriate specialty organization.
P. xi. Since the Institutional Report was prepared, notification has been received that the advanced-level program in physical education has been found to be in compliance with AAHPERD guidelines.
Pp. xxix-xxxii. An expanded List of Exhibits will be provided to the members of the NCATE Board of Examiners team at the time of their arrival at the institution.

This activity will begin with the provision of counseling services for the clients of this special center.~

"In a major hardware upgrade, two new VAX 4000-300 computers, dubbed Laurel and Hardy, have replaced the aging VAX 7/85 and 8650, in operation since the middle 1980's. The new VAXes join the DEC 5100, acquired last year to form the major components of Academic Computing's host resources."
P. 278. Criterion 92. Under "Instructional Materials Center," change the first sentence of paragraph two to read
"The IMC contains more than 31,000 pamphlets and publishers catalogs; more than 9,000 posters and dry-mounted pictures; 4,983 elementary and secondary education textbooks; 2,282 units, curriculum guides, and courses of study; 4,327 exhibits and picture sets; games; kits; and realia.~
Change the second sentence of the following paragraph to read
"Last year, the IMC Librarian provided bibliographic instruction sessions to 42 classes."

VOLUME II--PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONSP. 16. Add the following:
"For those students majoring in elementary mathematics, the program includes courses in geometry, algebra, and statistics that were especially designed to meet the needs of elementary education students. MTH 382 includes instruction in calculators and microcomputers. Other courses include using graphing calculators and geometric sketching software packages. An unusual feature is MTH 403, which includes current research in elementary school mathematics. Two graduates, Valerie Mills and Hal Taylor, have received state-wide recognition as outstanding mathematics teachers in Michigan."
