Overview and scope, including the following:
(1) Explanation of the knowledge base, philosophy for preparation, and goals and objectives of the program.
(2) Candidates' plans of studies, with courses categorized as required or elective.
(3) Descriptions of field experiences, student teaching, and internships. Include the credit range and type of supervision.
(4) Explanation of how the program deviates, if applicable, from the program standards.
(5) Description of where the program is located within the professional education unit and its interrelationships with other programs in the unit and in the institution.
(6) List of faculty with primary assignments in the physical education graduate program, including responsibilities, rank, and tenure status.
(7) Abbreviated two-page vita on each graduate faculty member.
(8) Number of graduates from the program over the past three years, or an explanation if there have been none over that period.
(9) Criteria used at admission to post-baccalaureate programs to determine if the candidate has adequate academic background in the subject to be taught should be submitted.
