SECTION 8: SPECIAL RECOGNITION OF PROGRAMS

Eastern Michigan University is an accredited teacher-training institution. In order to maintain that accreditation, each program area, including the early Childhood Education Minor, must fulfill National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE)Guidelines and approved by the Michigan Department of Education.
