Special Recognition of Programs

The Eastern Michigan Writing Project (EMWP) is an integral part of the English Education Program at EMU. This project has received recognition from the National Writing Project virtually every year for high quality support it offers teachers.

Teachers with the English Education Program have received numerous awards and recognitions. Two of the professors in the program were recipients of Distinguished Faculty Awards last year. Section 10 will offer a more in depth picture of the faculty’s awards and national recognitions.
