Monday, November 17, 2003

            Breakfast.  At your leisure, Bentley’s Restaurant, Marriott Hotel.  Charge to your room.

            8:00 a.m.  Transportation leaves from hotel lobby to Porter Building at EMU.  Shawn Quilter, driver. 

            8:00 a.m.  Transportation leaves from hotel lobby for school visit to Ypsilanti High School.  Andrea Schollaert, student teaching supervisor, escort. Elizabeth Smith will meet at west entrance to Porter Building and escort to Team Room (Porter 205A). 

            8:00 a.m.  Transportation leaves from hotel lobby for school visit to Tappan Middle School, Ann ArborMike Peraino, student teaching supervisor, escort.  Elizabeth Smith will meet at west entrance to Porter Building and escort to Team Room (Porter 205A).

            8:00 a.m.  Transportation leaves from hotel lobby for school visit to Angell Elementary School, Ann Arbor.  Karen Soebbing, student teaching supervisor, escort. Elizabeth Smith will meet at west entrance to Porter Building and escort to Team Room (Porter 205A).

            8:00 a.m.  Team Room (Porter 205A) open.  Some/all of the following technology helpers will be nearby at all times the team room is open: Pawan Chennama (stationed at machine #20 just outside the Team Room), Sam Chen, Peiyi Lin, Uchenna Chuka-Obah, Graduate Assistants.  Telephone access and copier available all day across the hall in Porter 206.

            8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  Tes Mehring and Sue Wittick meet with COE Dean Jerry Robbins in Porter 310.

            9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  Porter Building tour, conducted by Associate Dean Michael Bretting.  Leave from Team Room.

            9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  Interview:  Linda Pritchard, Dean, College of Arts and Sciences, 411 Pray-Harrold.  Melissa Heuker will be near the Team Room, available to escort.

            10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Interview: Robert Holkeboer, Associate Vice President, Graduate Studies and Research, Starkweather Hall.  Tiffany Walton will be near the Team Room, available to escort. 

            10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Interview: Rachel Cheng, University Librarian, 200 Halle Library.  Tour of Halle Library.  Madhu Guthikonda will be near the Team Room, available to escort. 

            11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.  Interview: Don Staub, Director, College of Education Office of Collaborative Education, Porter 104.  Deanna Spann will be near the Team Room, available to escort. 

Monday, Nov. 17, continued

            11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.  Group Interview (about “advising”):  Shawn Quilter, Assistant Dean, Advising; Carl Isaacs, Advisor; Chris Lancaster, Advisor for Post-Baccalaureate Students.  Porter 206.  Deborah Sakowski will be near the Team Room, available to escort.

            Noon.  Walk to Gallery II, McKenny Union for working lunch.  Escorts: Don Staub, Shawn Quilter.  

            1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.  Interview:  John Dugger, Dean, College of Technology, 150 Sill Hall.  Carolyn Nelson will be near the Team Room, available to escort.     

            1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.   Porter Building tour, conducted by Associate Dean Michael Bretting.  Leave from Team Room.

            2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.  Group Interview: Representatives of the College of Education Council.  Place: Porter 301B/C.  Deborah Sakowski will be near the Team Room, available to escort.

            2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.  Group Interview: Representatives of Advisors for Advanced Programs.  Place: Porter 310D (Mott-Manley Conference Room).  Scott Whitehouse will be near the Team Room, available to escort.

            3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.  Group Interview: Representatives of Instructors of Methods Courses.  Place: Porter 301B/C.  Carolyn Nelson will be near the Team Room, available to escort.  

            3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.  Group Interview: Representatives of Initial Program Students at  Pre-Student Teaching Stages. Place: Porter 304B.   Deborah Sakowski will be near the Team Room, available to escort.  

            3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.  Group Interview: Representatives of Advisors, Advanced Program Field Experiences.  Place: Porter 310D (Mott-Manley Conference Room).   Someone will be near the Team Room, available to escort. 

           4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Group Interview: Representatives of Recent Completers of the Initial Teacher Preparation Program.  Place: Porter 313Q.   Scott Whitehouse will be near the Team Room, available to escort.

            4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Group Interview: Representatives of Advanced Program Students.  Place: Porter 301B/C.  Carolyn Nelson will be near the Team Room, available to escort.

Monday, November 17, 2003, continued

            Approximately 6:00 p.m.  Transportation from Porter Building to Marriott.  Drivers: Shawn Quilter, Lynne Rocklage.

            6:15 p.m.  Leave Marriott for dinner at Paesano's restaurant.  Drivers: Shawn Quilter, Lynne Rocklage, Jackie Tracy.  Local persons will handle meal charges.

            After dinner.  Team activities under the direction of the team chair at hotel.  Technology helper (Pal) will be on call at the hotel from approximately 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
