Unit Mission
The
mission
of the College
of Education,
as adopted and periodically reviewed by the College
of
Education Council, is consistent with the institutional
values and guiding principles, the institutional
mission
statement, and the dean's personal statement of
vision.
It reads:
To
create an exemplary educational environment to develop
the intellectual curiosity, creativity, critical
and reflective thinking and problem-solving abilities
of our students
so that they may become ethical, productive and contributing
participants and leaders in a democratic and diverse
society.
