Supervision of 24-hour emergency program in a comprehensive community mental health center servicing an eight county catchment area.  The unit was responsible for handling all crises/psychiatric emergencies through walk-in, outreach, and telephone contacts and for screening evaluations for psychiatric hospitalization.  Total staff supervised equaled 5 full-time daytime workers, 26 part-time after-hours workers.  The supervisor was responsible for overall administration of the unit, including coordination of satellite emergency program; clinical supervision and training of staff; consultation with community agencies; budget preparation; some direct service to clients.
