The Office of Urban Education & Educational Equity (OUEEE - formerly known as the Office of Collaborative Education) focuses on needs in urban settings and also those designed to ensure that Eastern Michigan University prepares:
- Professional educators ready to help diverse students succeed and thrive.
- A cadre of educational professionals that is, itself, diverse.
The Office of Urban Education & Educational Equity believes that education professionals/leaders must be able to foster and sustain a culture of promise and possibility, of high expectation, collaborative ownership, and celebration of diversity.
