Welcome to PowerPlay!

We welcome our readers to PowerPlay: A Journal of Educational Justice. Our goal is to produce an intellectually challenging and educationally grounded interdisciplinary journal, with a commitment to social justice and urban education in both national and international contexts. We welcome contributions from scholars and practitioners in all fields, including educators, students, community activists, and advocates. A key focus of Powerplay is to explore the relationships between power, poverty, inequality, race, gender, and rights as embedded in social and educational policy and educational practice.
