We have restructured our undergraduate physics minor and made the junior level classes required rather than letting the students choose electives. This was in response to the poor results on the MI Subject Area Exam from the students with minors.
Note: We get an extensive record of student results from the MI Subject Area Exam after each testing date. Most of the students who take the test were never in our program. The others have taken only one or two classes that did not adequately prepare them for the exam.
