David C. Winters to lead the Department of Special EducatioN |
| After a nationwide search, Eastern Michigan University is pleased to welcome David C. Winters as the new head of its Department of Special Education. Dr. Winters holds an earned doctorate from Northwestern University in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders - Learning Disabilities. Most recently he served as the Executive Director of Clinical Affairs at 32° Masonic Learning Centers for Children, Inc. Dr. Winters is the recipient of a number of academic awards including the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council’s "Outstanding Multisensory Structured Language Education Professional." Dr. Winters will join the department effective July 1, 2009. |
