Eastern Michigan University launched its new elementary education certification program on July 1, 2010. Students admitted to the initial teacher preparation program after July 1, 2010 will follow the requirements for the new program.

Everyone Is Extraordinary is the theme for the Department of Special Education hosted auction that aims to create an endowed scholarship to provide students with special needs in the department the opportunity to take college courses at EMU.
