Post-Baccalaureate Students

Overview

The first step is to attend a Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification group advising session:

Adobe PDF Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Group Advising Schedule

Group advising provides the information you need to make an informed decision and is required of everyone who is interested in receiving individual advising. Specific topics covered include: admission procedures, course requirements, major/minor choices, professional education course information, field placements including student teaching, and exit requirements. Also, information will be provided on the appropriate advisor to meet with as a prospective student.

Upon admission to the Post-baccalaureate Teacher Certification program, all students are asked to meet with the post-baccalaureate coordinator, 206 Porter Building, to write an official program of study. The program is not considered official until signed by the post-baccalaureate coordinator and by faculty in the major and minor departments.
