Anne Bednar, Ed.D. Anne Bednar, Ed.D. - [Full] Professor and NCATE Coordinator  
Anne completed her doctorate in Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University. Her research interests include the change process and development of teacher thinking. Currently she is working on a proposal to study the impact of K-12 online learning experiences on classroom learning. Anne is also studying the relationship between the development of teacher thinking and Perry's model of intellectual development.

Nancy Copeland, Ed.D. Nancy Copeland, Ed.D. - Associate Professor & EDMT Program Coordinator
Nancy completed her doctorate at Wayne State University in Instructional Technology. Her current research interests focus on online learning environments, emerging technologies for K-12 education, and pre-service and new teacher technology integration capacity.

Toni Stokes-Jones, Ph.D. Toni Stokes Jones, Ph.D. - Associate Professor, Teacher Education Graduate Coordinator, & NCATE Board of Examiner

Toni is a graduate from the Instructional Technology program at Wayne State University. Her research interests are in K-12 technology infusion with emerging and open source technologies, technology and the young child, and technology capabilities and infusion efforts of pre-service and practicing educators.

Jon Margerum-Leys, Ph.D.
Jon Margerum-Leys, Ph.D. - Associate Professor & EDMT Graduate Coordinator

Jon completed his doctorate in Educational Studies with a specialization in Educational Technology at the University of Michigan. Previously he taught at the middle school and secondary level.

Michael McVey, Ph.D. Michael McVey, Ed.D. - Assistant Professor

Michael completed his doctorate in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University. He has been a classroom teacher of English and Special Education and a Director of Technology. Michael’s research interests include social networking in schools, communities of practice, and the effects of emerging technologies on teaching.
