Graduate Theme: Inquiry, advocacy, & leadership in education
for a diverse and democratic society
The
Educational Media & Technology (EDMT) Program offers two
programs of study -- a Master of Arts in EDMT or an EDMT Certificate.
For admission to either program, we require
that
you comply with Graduate School admission requirements
(i.e., complete application form, send official transcripts
and application fee),
that
you have at least a 2.75 undergraduate GPA or a 3.30 grade
point average in 12 hours or more of work in a master's
program,
that
you submit a 1-page letter of interest describing your
career goals and reasons for pursuing a master's degree
in Ed Media and Tech, and
that
you request and submit two letters of recommendation
that address your professional commitment, experience
and potential.
The
courses in the Master of Arts in EDMT are offered largely
online.
In the Master of Arts program in EDMT,
the non-EDMT courses (e.g., the Foundation and Research courses)
are offered mostly face-to-face. The EDMT Certificate courses
are all offered online. In our EDMT online courses, students
can work with course materials at their own convenience to
meet the assignment due dates. During most online courses,
students have opportunities to work collaboratively on class
projects. If you have questions about EMU Online, click here.
