  • Commencement will be held on April 29, 2012. It is important to note that there are two ceremonies.
  • Both Ceremonies will be held At the Convection Center
  • The morning ceremony is held at 10 a.m. for the College of Arts and Sciences as well as the College of Technology.
  • The afternoon ceremony is held at 2 p.m. for the College of Business; College of Education; College of Health and Human Service

Tickets

  • Tickets are required to enter the Convocation Center. Each graduate is allowed six tickets other than his or her own.
  • Seating is on a first come first serve basis. Visitors, including children, must have a ticket for admittance to the Convocation Center.
  • Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for the morning ceremony and 12:30 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony.
  • Accessible seating /access is available, but must be arranged in advance at time of pickup.

Ride to the door

  • Two free shuttle busses will pick up graduates and guests in the Convocation Center and Rynearson Stadium parking lots
  • They will be dropped off at the front door of the Convocation Center.
  • Busses will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Other information, belongings, photography etc.

  • No food or beverages will be permitted or provided in the Convocation Center during the Commencement Ceremonies.
  • Graduates: There are no locked facilities for valuables and no extra space so we ask that you please do not bring coats, purses, or any other personal belongings unless you have a guest who can hold your items throughout the day.
  • Photography is alowed during the Ceremonies yet only from your seat; there will be no acess to the staging area during the ceremonies. The Convocation center will be exited after the ceremony so no photography indoors post-ceremony
  • Following the Ceremony, graduates are directed outdoors to greet family and guests. There will be no re-entrance to the Convocation Center after the ceremony ends.
