
Twenty EMU faculty earned sabbatical-leave awards for 2007-08, including 10 from the 18 departments and programs within the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). Faculty can take leaves for many purposes, such as research, community service, professional or program development, and artistic, scholarly or creative activities. The leaves may be awarded for one semester at full pay or two semesters at half pay.
