How do I start to receive my G.I. Bill benefits?
You must complete an initial application for benefits with the Dept. of Veteran Affairs. After being accepted to EMU and registering for your courses you must complete an EMU GI Bill Notification Form (also known as the Form 1). This form must be completed for every term you intend to receive benefits. Once your certification has been sent to the VA you must verify your enrollment no sooner than the last day of the month for every month of the certified term.
