Title:   Employment Skills in Computer Science

Wed, Dec 6, 2006
301, Pray-Harrold

Description: Our Department invited several area executives to share with members of our community what skills are important in helping you advance in a software development career. Do you need to know the latest languages, be able to pass tricky logic tests, or be able to diagram application logic using modeling languages? Does it help to have domain knowledge? Do managers care if you network in professional societies? Why do they promote people?
