Summit Sports, is a fast growing ecommerce company operating a family of sporting goods retail web sites. We are again adding team members to our expanding web development department. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of advanced application development technologies in a fast paced and rapidly growing department. Job duties will be diverse with many opportunities to work with other company teams and departments. While we do not require college course work and are willing to train the right person with raw talent and passion for the work, we do expect applicants to have a solid understanding of html and css. Summit also offers opportunities for remote work days (work from home) when projects allow. This is a permanent, in-house full time position. No contract work. Desirable Background/Skill Set for this Role:

-- Experience with HTML and CSS
-- Creative flare and proficiency with graphic design software (CS, Photoshop, etc)
-- Javascript experience a plus
--Smarty Templating, PHP, and MySQL experience also a plus
--Skier or snowboarder preferred, but not necessary
--Ability to take initiative and work independently and in teams
--Ability to effectively handle multiple demands and priorities
